Academe Today and The Chronicle of Higher Education

Academe Today is an on-line service for individual, paid subscribers to
The Chronicle of Higher Education.  It includes daily reports about
breaking news in higher education, a guide to academic resources on the
Internet, updates on legislation affecting higher education, the full
text of The Chronicle, earliest possible access to hundreds of job ads,
and more. 

The Chronicle of Higher Education is published weekly except the third
week in August and the last two weeks in December (a total of 49 issues
a year.)

Subscriptions cost $75 for one year and include three special issues --
The Almanac of Higher Education, an annual reference issue, and Events &
Travel in Academe, a semiannual supplement -- as well as access to
Academe Today. 

Subscriptions for half a year cost $40.50.  Foreign subscriptions by air
mail are higher.

from selected advertisers, plus the complete job listings from The
Chronicle.
