publishes in French original articles and short communications. Special
editorials include issues of current interest and praxis-oriented reviews,
as well as interviews which provide a forum for the specialists who are
confronted with these problems daily. Scientific information and therapeutic
innovations are actively updated. Due to the rapid publication procedure,
this journal reports on the most recent developments in clinical practice
and technical improvements.

Major advances in pediatrics over the past ten years have emphasized the
necessity for a practical and comprehensive French publication to complement
scientific information and teaching, and to provide a link between research,
hospital and everyday practice.
