Ballet Alert! Online is the internet companion to two off- line
publications, Ballet Alert!, a newsletter for people who love ballet
(published since 1997), and DanceView, a quarterly review of dance
(published since 1979). All three projects are edited, published and
webmistressed (?) by Alexandra Tomalonis. Ballet Alert! Online publishes
reviews, interviews, performance calendars, and feature articles about
classical ballet. It also contains the archives for past issues of
DanceView, and will host the Rogue History Project, a place for publishing
and storing the work of independent scholars. It is intended for those who
already love ballet, or those who might like to. There is a weekly Quiz, a
Question of the Week to answer, bulletins about what's going on in ballet
called Scoops, Scandals and Aesthetic Gossip.  The site went up in late
