Publisher: MIT Press and the Konrad Lorenz Institute for Evolution and
Cognition Research.

Biological Theory: Integrating Development, Evolution, and Cognition is
devoted to theoretical advances in the biological and cognitive sciences.
Its emphasis is on the conceptual integration afforded by evolutionary and
developmental approaches.

Biological Theory is intended to foster a discourse between readers and
contributing authors‹which include a large constituency of natural
scientists, social scientists, philosophers, historians, and other scholars.
The authors contributing to Biological Theory will have a special
interest in, but are not limited to, the interface between development
and evolution at any level of organization from genetic to cultural
processes.

Our major aim is to build a platform that encourages cross-disciplinary
communication, facilitates critical reflection (and self-reflection), and
contributes to a deeper conceptual integration of all the fields involved.
