The Center for Research in Government Policy and Business at the William E.
Simon Graduate School of Business Administration (University of Rochester)
and the Center for the Study of Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University,
jointly developed a series of semi-annual conferences commencing in April
1973. The sessions, occurring regularly in April and November, are
explicitly designed to direct attention to major issues in economic policy.
They are used to survey in detail our knowledge pertaining to selected
policy problems or to explore the nature and weight of important issues
confronting policy makers, and are based on research papers specifically
prepared by qualified scholars.
Each conference attends to a somewhat unified subject or problem group and
the separate volumes thus tend to cover a coherent set of problems. Each
volume is also available separately.
Subscribers have access to full-text articles. Abstracts are available in
HTML format without a subscription.
