Colombia Médica is a Colombian medical journal now
publishing volume 35. It has been in the area for 35 years
without interruption and this is a record in Latin America.
Its editor has been using Vancouver style for more than 10
years.

The objectives of Colombia Médica are to communicate
original papers from biomedical investigations in the areas
of medicine, nursing, dentistry and allied health sciences
and to promote using research findings in Colombian health
policies.

It is published quarterly in Spanish with titles and
summaries in English, and contains original papers,
reviews, notes to editor, letters and clinic reports. Its
Editorial Committee is composed by outstanding
professionals in health from Colombia and foreign countries.
It has a peer-review system and its audience is about 6,200
monthly consultants from all over the world who access
freely its WEB portal and the full text too.
