This online version of the print journal of the same name is published
monthly (except semimonthly in February, May, August, and November) by
Academic Press, Inc. through a program titled IDEAL (International Digital
Electronic Access Library). Experimental Cell Research promotes the
understanding of cell biology by publishing experimental studies on the
general organization and activity of cells. The scope of the journal
includes all aspects of cell biology, from the molecular level to the
level of cell interaction and differentiation.
Some articles appearing in the November 15, 1996 issue of the Journal
include: 'Clonal Nature of Spontaneously Immortalized 3T3 Cells',
'Detection and Localization of Synexin (Annexin VII) in Xenopus Adult and
Embryonic Tissues Using an Antibody to the Xenopus N-terminal PGQM Repeat
Domain', and 'Glycerophosphorylethanolamine (GPEA) Identified as an
Hepatocyte Growth Stimulator in Liver Extracts'.
Subscription to this electronic journal involves licensing agreements with
academic and industrial networks or consortia of libraries and can not be
done on a personal or even title by title basis. However, the table of
contents and article abstracts for each issue are available online
free-of-charge. Articles are provided to members of subscriber
institutions in Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format.
