The aim of this journal is to provide ideas and information involving the
use of the finite element method, including CAE, in professional practice.
Subjects presented include static and dynamic, thermal and nonthermal,
linear and nonlinear analysis and design. Areas covered include finite and
boundary elements in heat transfer, solid, structural and fluid mechanics
and their applications in chemical, electronic, power generation, and
aerospace industries. Emphasis is placed on design-oriented finite element
technology. Contributions are welcome on finite element methods implemented
on micro, mini and main frame computers and their software related to
solving finite element problems, as well as computer-aided engineering
methods, optimal design algorithms, programming techniques, benchmarks,
physical data processing procedures, and software reviews.

Audience: Engineers, working in Structural and Fluid Mechanics and Computer
Aided Engineering.
