Publisher: Oxford University Press on behalf of the Classical Association
Designed to meet the needs of a wide audience, Greece and Rome publishes
scholarly but not technical articles on ancient history, art,
archaeology, religion, philosophy, and the classical tradition.
The editors are particularly eager to report original discoveries in
literary criticism, social and economic history, archaeology and art
history, and the development of ideas. Illustrated articles are
especially welcome.
A special feature of the journal is the Subject Reviews section. Over 90
books are covered in each issue, and the speed with which they are
reviewed after publication is a particular strength of the journal.
