Hipertexto is an online journal on Spanish, Latin American and Latino
Studies in which faculty and independent scholars can publish their research
works. It will also include interviews, book and movie reviews, as well as
articles on Linguistics, and Literary Theory.

The journal will give preference to those works with original and personal
contributions, and accepts works in either Spanish or English. Hipertexto is
maintained by the faculty of the Department of Modern Languages and
Literature of the University of Texas-Pan American. It appears twice a year,
and is listed and indexed by the MLA International Bibliography and the MLA
Directory of Periodicals.
