The International Society for Environmental Ethics (ISEE) seeks to
advance research and education in the field of environmental ethics and
philosophy, broadly conceived, including the philosophy of nature, and
to promote appropriate human use, respect, conservation, preservation,
and understanding of the natural world.  ISEE is an official auxiliary
organization of the American Philosophical Association. 
 
The ISEE Newsletter is owned and published by the International Society
of Environmental Ethics.  Back issues are made available on Internet
(Gopher) as a service to the profession and public by Morehead State
University, Office of Information Technology and Department of English,
Foreign Languages and Philosophy, Morehead, KY 40351-1689 USA.  Volume
1, issue no.  1 was published Spring 1990.  The newsletters are sent in
printed form to Society members and other subscribers, and printed back
issues are also available from the Secretary, at cost of distribution.
