The Internet Homesteader

The Internet Homesteader

Date: Fri, 31 Mar 1995 04:46:17 GMT
From: owner-newjour@ccat.sas.upenn.edu
Subject: Internet Homesteader

To NewJour Readers:

Laura K. Murray sends the following interesting announcement about a
very useful monthly journal available electronically. She also sent us
a fascinating sample issue, but as the message totalled about 2,000
lines in length and we worried about our 1,950 readers' mailboxes not a
little (many of you are overseas, or subscribe through commercial
services with connect time charges), we took the liberty of reproducing
only the brief description at the beginning and the subscribe
information from the very end for you. For a sample issue, please
message Ms. Murray.

Thank you,

NewJour Moderators

Subject: Request to Post our Journal

My name is Laura K. Murray and I am the editor of a monthly
journal, _The Internet Homesteader, Series A: Library and Information
Science_. This journal was first published in April of 1994, and is now
available in both paper and electronic formats. Our electronic version
follows this message. It is my hope that you will announce _The
Internet Homesteader_ in the NEWJOUR list.

The objective of this journal is to "scout, plow, and harvest
the Internet for our readers." We provide news and information for those
without Internet access; and instructional and informational articles
for those with connections. All of our instructional articles are
geared toward beginning and intermediate Internet users. The content is
for anyone involved in libraries or providing information on demand.

Subscription information is at the end of the electronic version
below. Please let me know if I can provide anymore information. Thank
you for your consideration.

Yours Sincerely,
Laura K. Murray, Editor
The Internet Homesteader
