The purpose of this journal is to disseminate practical knowledge and
research about the Architecture-Engineering-Construction (AEC) Industry
through electronic media. This journal will be distributed over the
Internet through the World Wide Web. All entries within the journal will be
required to use multimedia technology. Hence, authors and readers will be
able to convey and acquire knowledge and research results though the use
of hyper-linked text, audio clips, movie clips, graphics, and interactive
simulations.

The journal's table of contents will be divided into:

- technology transfer,
- research-in-progress, and
- case study sections.

Technology transfer entries will focus on specific solutions to tangible
problems in the AEC industry. New concepts and technologies that are
ready to be moved out of the laboratories will constitute the basis for
these submissions. The research entries will follow the traditional
format of reporting progress toward breakthroughs and results of research
initiatives. Case studies will concentrate on real-life scenarios in
which students will have to apply the concepts already learned in classes
to develop insight into different feasible solutions.
