 This electronic webzine is published bimonthly as a companion to the print
 magazine of the same name by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics
 Engineers, Inc. The focus of Internet Computing Online is on Internet
 Technologies and their affect upon engineers and engineering.
 
 The first issue of the e-zine includes the full-text of its print
 companion, but future issues will include excerpts from the print magazine
 as well as content unique to the online version. 
 
 Some articles appearing in the first issue of the e-zine include: 'Data
 Protocols for the Industrial Virtual Enterprise', 'Internet-Enabled
 Computer-Aided Design', and 'Roundtable: The Impact of the Internet on
 Engineering'. Numerous columns are also included, as well as the following
 departments: Elsewhere, News, New Products, Events, and Editorial Board
 Bios.
