Interface is published by the British Library National Bibliographic
Service (BL NBS) in order to keep customers informed of service
developments. It includes artiles on new filing and search techniques, new
products, tools and hints for better utilization of British Library
resources. 

The September 1996 issue contained the following articles:

  involved. 

Blaise: Changes to the ISSN file on Blaise 
  Introduction of a new subfield to indicate serials with alternative

  The British Library Information Sciences Service's database in detail. 

CD-ROM: Compressed BNB 
  From August 1996 data on the BNB on CD-ROM will be compressed.
