 Iberian Discoveries

 http://www.sun.rhbnc.ac.uk/~vhwm002/ILM/ID/index.html

Iberian Discoveries (ID) is an experimental electronic journal which
intends to offer a platform for those scholars working on Iberian or
Latin-American music who want to make their research available to the
academic community. The name Iberian Discoveries was suggested by Tess
Knighton, editor of Early Music, as a continuation of the series published
in that journal under the same title.

ID is affiliated with the Iberian & Latin-American Music mailing list has
been set up in response to the growing interest in this field. The aim is
to create an electronic forum for discussion of topics related to any
aspect of research into the music and musicians of Spain , Portugal and
Latin-America. This could include new archival research, details of
relevant conferences, publications, jobs, work in progress and queries of
any kind. The ILM mailbase and additional information can be found at:

 http://www.sun.rhbnc.ac.uk/~vhwm002/ILM/m-list.html

The scope of ID has to be understood in a broad sense, and any
contribution which might be of the interest of ILM members will be
welcome. Because ID it is still on an experimental period, it cannot be
ascertain which will be the periodicity of the journal.

The aim of ID is to complement the available resources in the scholar
community, and neither to substitute standard hard publications nor to
reproduce their contents. ID intends to publish those works which might
not be suitable for standard journals either because they have not reached
their final form and only reflect work in progress, or because their short
 extension.

Contributions in English, Spanish and Portuguese are welcome.
