The IBM Journal of Research and Development is a refereed technical
journal, published bimonthly, which contains peer-reviewed papers on all
aspects of science and technology of interest to the IBM scientific
research and development community worldwide and technical
professionals.

Four issues each year (typically) contain collections of papers on
selected topics of current interest. The remaining issues contain
individual papers.

In addition to papers, the Journal contains complete reference lists of
patents issued to IBM inventors and papers published by IBM authors in
other journals. The sixth issue each year contains a subject and author
index for that year.

The Journal welcomes submissions from the IBM technical community.
The Journal is available on the Web, as well as for sale in paper
version.

IBM Journal of Research and Development is a journal that is listed in 
the Directory of Open Access Journals.
