Issues in Teaching and Learning is an electronic version of the print
newsletter of the same title published by the University of Western
Australia, Centre for Staff Development.
"The newsletter will provide a mechanism for the dissemination and
discussion of a range of issues to do with teaching and learning in the
University. It will provide brief information on processes and structures
for ensuring quality in teaching and learning across the campus, as well
as highlighting current trends. Issues of Teaching and Learning will
complement Learning Innovation, the existing newsletter of the Innovative
Teaching Forum.
The launch of the Teaching and Learning Centre, as a Quality funded
initiative, provides all staff of the University with a purpose-designed
facility for the support of self-directed development activities. This
unique Centre offers staff considerable flexibility in the choice of time,
frequency and duration of development activities, as well as control over
the pace and focus of their development."
