                          neural and electrophysiologic

                          effects of ageing and diseases on
                          membrane receptors, secondary
                           messenger formation and
                           cell-to-cell comunication 
                          long-term outcome studies of
                           psychological, medical and
                           surgical treatment modalities of
                          erectile dysfunction 

                      Also includes work on areas forming
                      the basics of impotence research: 

                          central brain control 
                          blood flow 
                          hormones 
                          neural innervation 
                          penile smooth muscle
