  Transactions of the Institute of British Geographers is an international
quarterly journal of geographical research. It publishes substantial,
internationally-refereed articles of the highest scholarly standard on any
theoretical or empirical subject on geography and reviews books across the
full spectrum of the discipline. Electronic Transactions aims to enhance
Transactions and make it more accessible to those studying and researching
geography around the world.

  Articles are provided in Adobe Acrobat portable document format (PDF 
files) as full-text, and abstracts are available in html. Some articles 
published in Volume 21, Issue 4 of the ejournal include: "Geography and 
industrialization: the space economy of northwest England, 1701-1760", 
"The return of the Manchester Men: men's words and men's deeds in the
remaking of the local state", and "Local governance, the crises of 
Fordism and the changing geographies of regulation".
