IDFA Magazine is the multi-media magazine for documentary film
aficionados. Since March '97 this bilingual issue appears monthly
exclusively on the Internet.  The magazine is edited by a professional
editorial staff, providing net surfers with news and background articles -
in text and video - on both recent and historical documentaries.
Furthermore, the magazine reports on miscellaneous current international
film projects, besides featuring video diaries by documentary filmmakers,
kept exclusively for the Internet. 

The magazine gives a great deal of prominence to 'streaming video'. For
some time now it is possible to watch films and videos on the Internet
without any delay. IDFA Magazine is one of the first websites offering
documentary film excerpts on a large scale. 

IDFA Magazine is set up for a wide group of documentary film lovers, but
also for documentary filmmakers themselves. In the section Work in
Progress directors and producers can present new projects to an
international audience.
