Scope
Now published twelve times a year, Inhalation Toxicology has
become the key forum for international exchange of the latest
advances in pulmonary toxicology. The journal is dedicated to
improving the understanding of host responses to inhaled
substances as well as to reporting significant advances in this
rapidly developing field. Topics covered by this journal are
varied, including the pathogenesis and mechanism of lung
disease, extrapolation of animal data to humans, effects of
inhaled chemicals on extrapulmonary systems, innovative lung
model systems for predicting human disease, aerosol science,
and new inhalation exposure techniques. The journal also
publishes symposium proceedings in special issues on topics
of unique importance or timeliness.
Readership
Professionals in toxicology, biology and medicine, as well as
research scientists and students who are interested in recent
advances in inhalation toxicology and pulmonary medicine.
