Scope

The International Journal of Pest Management publishes original research
papers concerning the control of pests and diseases of plants of economic,
conservation, medicinal and amenity value within the areas of agriculture,
horticulture, forestry, conservation, and stored products research. The
geographical scope of the journal is worldwide.The journal covers the
following topics: control of pests (invertebrates, vertebrates, weeds) and
diseases of plants and their products; biological and cultural control and
integrated pest management; plant resistance to pest attack, including
genetic aspects; epidemiology and population dynamics of pests and
diseases in relation to control strategies; assessment of pest and disease
damage (damage and economic thresholds); theoretical and systems models as
applied to practical pest management; the relationship of pest management
to the wider aspects of farming systems and rural development; and pest
management systems. The journal also publishes reviews, normally by
invitation, and taxonomic keys for the identification of pests and control
agents of major economic importance. The journal's 'Forum' section aims to
facilitate discussion and debate between readers and authors on important
issues in pest management.

pest management.
