The International Review of Administrative Sciences aims to be an
essential source of information for anyone concerned with the contemporary
problems of public administration throughout the world. The journal
publishes original contributions on a broad range of topics, including:
* administration and management of national civil services and
international agencies
* organization of central governments and regional administrations
* personnel management
* administrative reform and public finance
* theory, philosophy and history of administration
Each issue includes critical book reviews and a major bibliographic
section listing outstanding new publications. The journal also includes a
Chronicle of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences which
reviews the activities of the Institute and its members.
The International Review of Administrative Sciences also regularly devotes
whole issues to symposia on subjects of particular interest. Recent
Special Issue topics have included:
* redesigning the state profile for social and economic development and
change
* public management in a borderless economy
* public sector productivity
* information in public administration
* comparative economic integration
The on-line edition is a reproduction of the print edition.
