The International Journal of Engineering Science publishes original research
pertaining to the application of the physical, chemical and mathematical
sciences to engineering. Emphasis is given to those contributions concerned
with the cross-fertilization of these fields and research in the allied
regions of mechanics, electricity and magnetism, thermodynamics, physical
chemistry, both from continuum and molecular points of view. Applied
research involving recent developments is welcome in such interdisciplinary
areas as biomechanics, system theory, energy and approximation theory,
applied and computational mathematics, as applied to basic problems in
engineering science.
