IEEE Power Engineering Review (PER) serves to condense and reference the
broad-based sphere of technical interests that might otherwise not be
readily accessible to PES members. It is a manifold source of information,
intended to complement the three PES Transactions and IEEE Computer
Applications in Power magazine and to highlight items that are of particular
interest to PES members. This magazine does not accept advertising, but
includes a no-fee calendar listing of power engineering education. This
magazine is included with IEEE PES membership, and is available by
subscription to IEEE members and nonmembers.

Each issue carries feature articles, departments, announcements, and
technical paper abstracts. The fundamental purpose of the magazine is to
communicate with individual members, chapters, councils, departments, and
the PES Executive Board, and to provide meeting information. One of the
significant objectives is to transmit information of professional interest
to members who do not have the opportunity to attend PES general meetings
and technical conferences. The December issue carries a year-end index.

Subscribers have access to full-text articles in PDF format.
