The Journal is hosted by the Government of Malta and by the Synapse, the 
medical professional's network, at a mirror site, 
and is maintained in collaboration with the Department of Health 
Information.

The scope of the Journal is to illustrate graphically the subspeciality 
of paediatric cardiology by means of on-line pictures of patients,  
conditions, x-rays, electrocardiograms, echocardiograms, angiograms, 
peroperative photographs, post-mortem photographs, and other imaging 
techniques. This Journal is a paediatric cardiology publication aimed 
at professionals only, and is the first, exclusively on-line, 
paediatric cardiology journal.
   The contents of the Journal are meant to be used as a teaching 
resource. Downloading of material is encouraged for teaching purposes, 
provided that the Journal is cited or acknowledged. Written permission 
must be sought before material published in the Journal may be reused 
for purposes other than teaching. 

Online access is free and issues date back to 1999.
