Welcome to the Irish Journal of Psychological Medicine, Ireland's only 
peer-reviewed clinical psychiatry journal. The Journal has been 
supporting and encouraging original Irish psychiatric and psychological 
research for almost 20 years and has established itself as an 
independent and respected voice in Irish psychiatry under the 
editorship of Professor Brian A Lawlor, Professor of Old Age 
Psychiatry, Dublin. 

The Journal is innovative in its content while maintaining scientific 
rigor and tight peer review to meet international publishing standards. 
Furthermore, the Journal represents an invaluable research vehicle to 
psychiatrists, trainees and all those working in related medical 
disciplines both in Ireland and abroad. The Journal is published 
quarterly in March, June, September and December. Archives date back to 
1999.
