The International Journal of Integrated Care (IJIC) is an
international, European-based electronic journal that
collects and makes available English-language, peer-
reviewed scientific articles. IJIC focuses on integrated
care, including the methods and strategies for linking and
coordinating the various aspects of care delivered by
different care systems, such as preventive services and the
work of general practitioners, primary and specialty care,
preventive and curative services, acute and long-term care
as well as physical and mental health services.

It also covers the various echelons of care, such as the
clinical, institutional, regional and national levels. The
various aspects related to demand, provision of services,
financing, structure, organisation, (re)designing,
planning, development and evaluation are all subjects of
relevance to integrated care.

IJIC is published by Igitur Publishing and Archiving
Services (Utrecht University) and requires only a simple
user registration to access the online content.

International Journal of Integrated Care (IJIC) is available
free of charge as an Open Access journal on the internet.
