The Iranian Biomedical Journal is an international quarterly 
publication and welcomes contributions from authors in the general 
field of laboratory based experimental biomedical sciences, including 
all aspects of biochemistry, genetics, immunology, cell biology, 
developmental biology, microbiology, molecular biology, pharmacology 
and physiology.  The journal publishes original contributions that have 
not previously been or will be submitted for publication elsewhere.  
Abstracts presentations do not constitute previous publication.  The 
final decision to accept contributions rests with the Editorial 
Committee of the Iranian Biomedical Journal.  Full papers and short 
communications will be considered for publication and reviews, only by 
invitation.  Acceptance of manuscripts for publication depends on their 
quality, originality, clarity, and relevance to the Journal’s scope.
