Publisher: International Institute for Qualitative Methodology at the
University of Alberta, Canada
The International Journal of Qualitative Methods is a peer reviewed
journal published quarterly as a web-based journal by the International
Institute for Qualitative Methodology at the University of Alberta,
Canada, and its international affiliates. It is a multi-disciplinary,
multi-lingual, Open Access journal, free to the public.
Our goals are to heighten the awareness of qualitative research, to
advance the development of qualitative methods in varying fields of
study, and to help disseminate knowledge to the broadest possible
community of academics, students, and professionals who undertake
scholarly research. By keeping the journal free of charge, we hope to
reach an audience who, for whatever reason, do not read traditional,
subscription -based journals.
The IJQM is indexed in the following: Academic Abstracts FullTEXT,

Reference Centre, Canadian MAS FullTEXT, Health Source, Humanities
