Interdisciplinary Science Reviews is a journal of science and human
affairs which aims to set contemporary and historical developments in
science and technology in their wider cultural context. ISR is both
pluralistic and transdisciplinary in its approach.
As well as publishing papers addressing interdisciplinary issues within
science, the journal is concerned with illuminating the character of the
sciences using tools and insights from history, philosophy, sociology,
cultural studies, and the humanities, as well as with questions of
ethics, policy, and communication.
Contributions are welcome from scientists, 'meta-scientists', and
non-scientists alike. Papers and reviews with a clear inter- or
transdisciplinary flavour are preferred. The Editor is always happy to
discuss proposals with intending authors or to comment on draft texts.
