Published by Blackwell Publishing on behalf of the International
Organization for Migration

International Migration is a refereed, policy oriented journal on migration
issues as analysed by demographers, economists, sociologists, political
scientists and other social scientists from all parts of the world. It
covers the entire field of policy relevance in international migration,
giving attention not only to a breadth of topics reflective of policy
concerns, but also attention to coverage of all regions of the world and to
comparative policy.

The journal is published for the International Organization for Migration
which was established in 1951. IOM is committed to the principle that humane
and orderly migration benefits migrants and society. As an intergovernmental
body, IOM acts with its partners in the international community to: assist
in meeting the operational challenges of migration; advance understanding of
migration issues; encourage social and economic development through
migration; and work towards effective respect of the human dignity and
well-being of migrants.
