This journal was founded in Summer 1983 under the name of Computer 
Processing of Chinese and Oriental Languages. It covers all aspects 
related to the computer processing of Oriental languages. Of special 
interest are web-based applications, e-commerce, multilingual distance 
learning and the use of XML in multilingual applications.

IJCPOL will publish papers on topics that include:
