International Journal of Sport and Health Science is published by the Japan
Society of Physical Education, Health and Sport Sciences (JSPEHSS). It is
circulated among 6,500 members of JSPEHSS to promote academic research and
the practical application of research results.

This journal focuses on sport and health sciences. This new field is
attracting keen interest world wide, and has already been studied by many
researchers, but has, until now, lacked an integrative international forum.

The journal is composed of the following sections: aging and promotion,
biomechanics, coaching and training, cultural anthropology, epidemiology,
growth and development, history, management, pedagogy, philosophy,
physiology, psychology, and sociology.

This new journal gives readers state-of-the-art theory and applications
related to sport and health sciences. The topics include, but are not
limited to, aging and health promotion, biomechanics, coaching and training,
cultural anthropology, epidemiology, growth and development, history,
management, philosophy, pedagogy, physiology, psychology, sociology,
scientific applications, and industrial implementations.

Japan Society of Physical Education, Health and Sport Sciences (JSPEHSS) is
the largest academic society representing physical education and health and
sports sciences in Japan. About 6,500 domestic and international members are
currently active in JSPEHSS. The members come from a wide variety of
professions mainly composed of researchers and university staff.
