The publication of the Iranian Polymer Journal (former title: Iranian 
Journal of Polymer Science and Technology) started from January 1992 as 
an international publication.

This publication was issued on a regular biannual basis and continued 
for 3 years and from January 1994 it has been issued on a quarterly 
basis and then it has been publishing bimonthly since January 2001.

The IPJ is a publication of Iran Polymer and Petrochemical Institute's 
scientific achievements. It is well received in international academic 
media. The journal is widely distributed abroad and is usually available 
in the departments of polymer science, chemistry and chemical 
engineering at universities, in libraries, and in the research centers 
of more than forty countries in Asia, Australia, Africa, Europe and 
America.
