Publisher: University of Chicago Press on behalf of the Society for
Healthcare Epidemiology of America

Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology provides original, peer-reviewed
scientific articles for anyone involved with an infection control or
epidemiology program in a hospital or healthcare facility.

Written by infection control practitioners and epidemiologists and guided by
an editorial board composed of the nation's leaders in the field, ICHE
provides a critical forum for this vital information.

Manuscripts submitted to Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology (ICHE)
should consist of new material that focuses on healthcare epidemiology or
infection control activities. ICHE welcomes submissions that address the
transmission of pathogens or that involve the use of epidemiological
principles and methods to evaluate or improve the delivery of care within
healthcare institutions.

Examples of appropriate material include studies of infection rates,
distributions, or preventive measures; cost-benefit analyses related to
infections or other adverse events in patients; surveillance; occupational
health issues; pertinent regulatory issues; or analyses of resource use.
