Publisher: John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

Formerly: Early Development and Parenting

Infant and Child Development publishes empirical, theoretical and
methodological papers dealing with psychological development during infancy
and childhood up to and including adolescence. Papers of an
interdisciplinary nature are particularly encouraged.

Areas covered by the journal include caregiver-child interaction, cognitive
development, emotional development, infant perception, motor development,
parenting and development, play and development, precursors to language and
language development, and socialization.

In addition to full-length papers, the journal will publish research notes
and book reviews. Each book review will be accompanied by a reaction from
the author(s) or editor(s) of the book whenever possible.

>From time-to-time, an issue will be devoted either to a special theme under
the editorship of an invited expert or to a target article with accompanying
commentaries. Anybody with plans to edit a special issue or submit a target
article should contact one of the editors to discuss them. If you wish to
review a particular book or monograph for the journal, then you should
contact the relevant book editor.

The journal will not only be of interest to child and developmental
psychologists, but also to those working in child psychiatry and behavioural
and social paediatrics.
