Publisher: Society for Irish Latin American Studies

The Society for Irish Latin American Studies was founded on 1 July 2003 to
promote the study of relations between Ireland and Latin American countries.
Our range of interest includes the settlement, lives, and achievements of
Irish emigrants to Latin America and their descendents, as well as the
contemporary presence of Ireland in the life and culture of Latin America
and the presence of Latin Americans in Ireland.

Irish Migration Studies in Latin America is an illustrated journal published
four times a year. It is published electronically together with a printable,
paginated version. Readership includes academics, students, researchers,
genealogists and people with interests in history, literature, culture and
other aspects of relations between Ireland and Latin America.

The editors welcome contributions of articles, biographies, book reviews and
sources. Contributions are welcome from any interested person, including
scholars, researchers and professionals.

IMSLA is published in English. Contributions may be submitted in English,
French, German, Portuguese or Spanish. However, the original citations from
English-language texts should be in English.
