Ibero American Institut (IAI) is a a conceived center of scientific work as
well as a center of academic and cultural exchange with Latin America, Spain
and Portugal. It accommodates the largest European special library for the
Ibero American culture area, at the same time the third biggest library
specializing in this range world-wide. At the same time the IAI fulfills a
function as place of non-university scientific research as well as a forum
of the dialogue between Germany, Europe and Ibero America.

Ibero-Online.de publishes texts based on lectures and symposiums which take
place at the Ibero American Institut. The publication serves to spread the
results of scientific meetings of the Ibero American Institut and
contributes to spreading over regional frameworks the findings of inside and
outside participants of the meetings.
