International Journal of Biomedical Science (IJBS) is dedicated to
increasing the understanding of human health and disease. IJBS provides a
venue for scientists in all disciplines with the ultimate aim of improving
human health. The journal also aims to promote translation of basic research
into clinical investigation and convert clinical evidence into practice.

The journal features works of exceptional significance in all areas related
to medicine, and biology, including basic research and clinical
investigations. We uphold papers that cross disciplines and encourage papers
addressing universal problems of human health.

IJBS will cover but is not restricted to: advances in molecular biology,
microbiology, immunology, and parasitology, cell biology, cytology and
histology, pathology, pharmacology, toxicology, cellular biochemistry, cell
and tissue research, pathogenic and animal models and all basic studies in
the medical field.

This scope extends to additional areas including: genomic approaches to
identify and characterize parameters of biological control in the context of
control of the cell cycle & cell growth control and structure-function
relationships; compartmentalization of nucleic acids and regulatory proteins
within the nucleus and cytoplasm; the dynamics of intranuclear trafficking,
placement and assembly of regulatory machinery for gene expression to the
development, organization or remodeling of tissues; the mechanisms involved
in assembly processes used by cells and viruses including signaling
mechanisms mediating transcription;  regulation of cell reproduction or
differentiation; and animal-based studies including pharmaceutical
development.

IJBS will cover all clinical areas, including cardiology, clinical
epidemiology, dermatology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, gerontology,
hematology, hepatology, immunology, immunotherapy, pharmacotherapy,
nephrology, neurology, neuropathology, oncology, ophthalmology,
otolaryngology, obstetrics and gynecology, rheumatology and vascular
biology.

This scope extends widely from scientific principles of conventional to
alternative medicine; from preventive to emergency medicine; from public
health to enviromental health; from sports medicine to arthritis and
rheumatism; from pediatrics or internal medicine to surgery; from
rehabilitation to anaesthesia, respiratory and critical care medicine; from
osteoporosis, metabolism, genetics to neuropsychiatry, arteriosclerosis
thrombosis and clinical laboratory science.
