Investigações em Ensino de Ciências is a journal dedicated exclusively to
research in the teaching / learning of science (physics, chemistry, biology
or natural sciences when they are addressed in an integrated way).

Articles are accepted for publication that:

1) investigate in the teaching / learning of science
2) review the literature in a certain area of research in teaching /
learning of science
3) theoretical research with clear implications for the inquiry in education
of science 
4) methodology of educational research with direct relevance for research in
education of science
5) criticism (or defense) and commentaries on published articles.
