The IASC member organisations are national science organisations covering
all fields of Arctic research. Each national member organisation has a
mechanism to provide ongoing contact between its IASC council member and its
Arctic science community.

The main purpose of this annual publication is to distribute IASC
information to the Arctic research community and also to Arctic residents.

In particular, this new annual publication replaces the former IASC Project
Catalogue and provides additional information on other IASC activities,
including a summary of the Arctic Science Summit Week (ASSW) .
