The mission of the journal of Nursing and Education is to present scientific
and technical information about health, illnesses and related topics. The
journal serves as the conduit [medium] through which the experiences of our
own nursing and social science departments can be shared within Columbia and
internationally. 

It is written primarily for nurses, general health practitioners and other
related disciplines but can also be used by students and researchers.

The publishing vocation of the journal has established the following
preferences for articles submitted: Editorial articles; papers of scientific
investigation and technological development; articles from original
reflections about a problem or particular topic; review articles; summaries
of contributions; conference papers; books reviews; scientific essays that
present a well documented opinion of the author about a specific topic
within our publication; translations; transcriptions; discussions;
communications and health care practice experiences.

Articles can be submitted for approval in the following languages: Spanish,
English, French and Portuguese.
