The International Journal of Hindu Studies offers a scholarly
exploration of topics in Hindu studies, fostering new work in neglected
areas, alternative perspectives, and the exchange of information. The
Journal supports critical inquiries, hermeneutical interpretive
proposals, and historical investigations into all aspects of Hindu
traditions.
Publishing articles that advance scholarship in all aspects of Hindu
studies, the journal emphasizes areas of research that have
cross-disciplinary relevance or set forth new implications for this
emerging field. Comparative and theoretical articles span a broad range
of disciplines in the humanities and social sciences.
