Invertebrate Neuroscience publishes original articles, short communications,
and reviews describing recent advances in the field of invertebrate
neuroscience. Special emphasis is placed on studies using molecular and cell
biology methods to elucidate mechanisms of nervous system development and
function.
A special feature is the availability of additional online publication of
supplementary material such as color figures, three dimensional figures,
sequence data, alignments and sequence comparisons, animations, short
videos, etc., at no cost to authors. This material will be referred to in
the printed article but will appear only in the online version.
Aspects of particular interest include: functional analysis of the
invertebrate nervous system; molecular neuropharmacology and toxicology;
neurogenetics and genomics; functional anatomy; neurodevelopment; neuronal
networks; and molecular and cellular mechanisms of behavior.
