Publisher: e-Century Publishing Corporation

The International Journal of Molecular Epidemiology and Genetics (IJMEG) is an open access, online only journal to facilitate rapid dissemination of novel discoveries and new methodologies in medical molecular epidemiology and genetics. It was founded by a group of pre-clinical and clinical academic researchers from around the world, who are devoted to the promotion and advancement of our understanding of the molecular basis of disease.

The scope of IJMEG is intended to encompass that of multi-disciplinary researchers from any scientific discipline where the primary focus of the research is to increase and integrate knowledge about chronic disease aetiology with the ultimate aim of advancing the cure and prevention of chronic disease and the overall improvement of public health.

To achieve these aims IJMEG encourages research that uses molecular, cellular and biochemical concepts and techniques, including the wealth of information and application that biomarkers can bring, that either complement current epidemiological knowledge or which are directly incorporated into well-designed epidemiologic or genetic studies.
