The main objective of the journal is to spread to the scientific world the results of recent researches and studies concerning Italian prehistory and protohistory, in order to bring out knowledge and information on issues and contexts of the most remote ages of history. The digital format publication allows to draw attention to those contributions which are often waiting for suitable editorial spaces, due to their peculiar wealth of data and documentation. 

The journal aims to become an a platform for data-sharing and discussions on the analysis and interpretations of prehistoric contexts, research methods, and economic and social transformations of prehistory.
