The Japanese Journal of Infectious Diseases (JJID) is the official 
bimonthly publication in English of the National Institute of 
Infectious Diseases, Japan from February, 1999.  

JJID publishes papers dealing with basic research in infectious 
diseases in the fields of bacteriology, virology, mycology, and 
parasitology. Papers dealing with pathology, immunology, and 
biochemistry related to infectious diseases or microbial pathogens 
are also encouraged.  

Japanese Journal of Infectious Diseases is available free of charge 
as an Open Access journal on the internet.

Archives date back to 1999.
