Published by Blackwell Publishing on behalf of the Japanese Psychological
Association

Japanese Psychological Research publishes the original work of members of
the Japanese Psychological Association. International in focus, the
journal's analysis of problem-orientated research contributes significantly
to all fields of psychology.

Japanese Psychological Research accepts: original articles, short reports,
and reviews. As a general rule only articles written by members of the
Japanese Psychological Association will be considered. However,
contributions from non-members will be accepted for publication when they
are considered and found to contribute to the members of the Association. In
that case, authors have to bear contribution fees per page.

Original articles must be based on problem-oriented research data. The
analysis of data, and theoretical discussion should make a significant
contribution to the field. Short reports should provide additional
information or offer critical and constructive comments on a previously
published article. A description of a novel research method, technique, or
apparatus may also be acceptable. Reviews should summarize publications
setting forth major developments within a particular research area. Reviews
including studies in Japan are especially welcomed.
